Protect Your Pets During Eviction

You may have more resources than you know, don't wait to ask for help!

Reach out to family, friends, and social networks to locate temporary or permanent housing for your pet as soon as possible.

Your local animal shelters may be able to assist you as well, by providing additional resources or temporary foster caretaking while you get back on your feet. If no other solution can be found, they may be able to take your pet into their program to find appropriate placement. Contact your shelter(s) as soon as you think you will need their services! The sooner you contact them, the sooner they can try to help you and find options. Please note that each shelter follows their own policies and procedures, and services may vary from shelter to shelter.
